Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library membership meetings are held on the last Monday of each month.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization of volunteers who help advocate for the library. Membership dues and fundraising profits are used to help buy materials for our library and bring various programs to the people of our town.

Friends lend a hand whenever they can offer time. They help with:

  • Suggestions for planning new programs and promoting literacy
  • Assisting library staff with running a program or completing a project
  • Giving input, assistance and presence for fundraisers

  • Large movie screen
  • Decorations and displays for the Annual Halloween Haunted Library event
  • Sponsorship of many programs
  • Sponsorship of the Summer Reading Program, including prize incentives and special programs
  • Refreshments for programs

For a nominal annual membership fee, you can support your library and help keep the Friends active.
