National Voter Registration Day

Register to Vote!

On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, Bogota Public Library will host a National Voter Registration Day event at as part of a massive cross-country effort to register thousands of voters. Every eligible American voter should exercise his or her right to be heard at the ballot box, and library workers will be outside the library encouraging Bogotians to get registered.

Ballots will go out to all registered voters.

How do I submit my ballot?

Ballots will be mailed by October 5 to registered voters in New Jersey and include prepaid return postage. There will be no sample ballots.

Drop-off

Ballots can be dropped off at a secure drop box by 8pm on Election Day, or turned in at your polling location on Election Day.

By Mail

Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and received by 8pm on November 10.

In-Person

Only provisional paper ballots will be used on Election Day. It will only be counted if your eligibility is later verified and should only be used as a last resort.

The Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders have created a PSA for residents of Bergen County New Jersey to assist them in voting proceedures in effect for the November 2020 General Election.
